The Auburn Chamber of Commerce is a membership-driven organization that is community oriented! Our members are asked to promote local commerce and business. The chamber provides support to our local community through our businesses and organizations that we serve. We also look forward to welcoming people into our community whether just passing through or looking to stay!
Member Support
Member Support is just that; it's an opportunity to support our Chamber Members in promoting their business. We provide a variety of opportunities throughout the year to help promote through Sidewalk Sales, Christmas Promotion, and monthly through our Newsletter. Check out "What We Can Do For You"
Tourism / New Residents
Passing through you can stop by the Chamber Office to pick up a map or other local tourist attraction information. Planning to stay, let us know and we can give you a new resident guide and some key information on some local hot spots.

Referrals
We love giving referrals. We also love receiving them. Promoting our members to be one of the first to meet your needs is something we love to do. So give us a call and we can let you know who to go to for an oil change, the latest in women's fashion, some fun antiques, or where to get flowers for any occasion. We also have a variety of real estate agencies, insurance agencies, and banks that would love to earn your service.
Events
Nemaha County is the place to "bee". Auburn is the home of Honeybees in the Heartland and the birth place of getting our state insect named. The honeybee is a special part of our community dating back to 1973 when a Calvert Elementary 3rd Grade Class proposed it to state legislatures. In July 2019, twenty-six sculptures painted by local artists were unveiled and can now be found around our entire county.
You can always find something to do with events taking place year round from the community olympics, high school sports, Peru State College events, and lots of other arts and family activities to enjoy. Plus Bowldog Alley, Nemaha County Wellness Center, Nemaha Valley Museum and many more businesses host a variety of events throughout the year.
