Important Announcement

Dear Chamber Members and the Auburn Community:

The Auburn Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Director, Tonia Greiner, is announcing her resignation after serving over five years with the organization that serves our local businesses. She states that she made the decision after “much deliberation and prayer” and discussions with family and mentors.

“Thank you to the Chamber Board for being so wonderful to work with, supporting me in my position as Executive Director and in my decision to step down. As I begin a new chapter in my life, I go forward having gained many new friendships among our businesses. This has been an excellent opportunity for me to get involved with my community and I am forever grateful to have been a part of the growth that Auburn continues to strive for. The world looks a little different than it did when I took this job, but I want to thank everyone for their support over the last 5+ years with the Auburn Chamber of Commerce,” shares Greiner.

Greiner, a native and graduate of Johnson-Brock High School, joined the chamber in September 2016. She very quickly jumped into chamber events and jumped out of her comfort zone to present a new way to see the chamber through Facebook LIVE videos. Greiner was often approached as being known as “the Chamber Lady” or “that Facebook Live gal” as she brought a new set of eyes to businesses and events through these videos.

The growth and success of the chamber would not be possible without the investment of their director, their members, and the community. The changing times of COVID has certainly taken a toll on our businesses and therefore on the Chamber, but many hands make light work, and the Auburn Chamber continues to strive to serve their membership which supports our community.

If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors for the Auburn Chamber of Commerce please send a letter of interest to auburnchamberofcommerce@gmail.com. We also encourage you to stay tuned for more information as it becomes available regarding filling the director position.

Sincerely,

Auburn Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
